We’re looking for a couple — or two good friends — to spend the winter in Bansko as the friendly faces of Snomads — award- winning ski chalet company. Join us for the best winter of your life!
The Bansko life
A Bulgarian ski resort with a medieval old town, good food, affordable prices, and a beautiful mountain with reliable skiing throughout the entire season.
The mountain
75km of pistes, off-piste terrain, and a gondola that takes you from the old town straight to altitude. Join ski or snowboard group lessons on us.
The coworking scene
Bansko has a thriving community of remote workers and digital nomads. Coworking spaces, regular meetups, people building interests from the mountains.
The town
Cobbled streets, mehana restaurants, good coffee, thermal baths. The old town has a unique pace where evenings are just as exciting as the days.
The people
Guests from all over the world, a friendly team that gets on, and a wider community of nomads, riders and regulars who make every season feel like more than just a job.
What your winter looks like
The role runs on split shifts. Mornings belong to the chalet — breakfast service, looking after guests, making sure everything runs well. Once the guests head to the mountain, so can you. The afternoon is fully yours. Evenings bring guests back, drinks, dinner service, activities arranged, good conversations had.
Morning
6:00 — 10:00am
Chalet time
Breakfast prep and service, welcoming guests, keeping things running smoothly. Done by mid-morning.
Afternoon
10:00am — 4:00pm
Your time
Ski, snowboard, work remotely, sit in a coworking space, build something, explore the old town, do nothing. The time is fully yours. This becomes very flexible as the season goes.
Evening
4:00 — 9:00pm
Guest time
Welcome everyone back from the slopes. Pour drinks, help with dinner service. Arrange activities — snowmobiles, ATVs, wine tasting, restaurants. Wash up, tidy down, done for the night.
Plus extra free mornings and afternoons throughout. Most days give you time on the mountain
Day to day
Be the face of Snomads
Friendly, English-speaking, always available. You're who guests come to first — for anything from restaurant recommendations to activity bookings and every day questions.
Run the chalet alongside our chef
Breakfast prep and service, meal assistance and buffet management. Work alongside our chef, not for her.
Keep the chalet fully stocked
You own the weekly food and drink stock. Organise deliveries, make sure nothing runs out. Provide the sense of home away from home.
Drive when needed
Occasional gondola runs for guests in our 8-seat Ford Transit. Just a 3-minute drive to the gondola.
Capture the season
Once a week, join guests on the mountain and capture photos and videos for our social media. No professional experience needed, just a decent eye.
Who we are
We’ve been running ski holidays in Bansko since 2012 as an independent company built by skiers. People who genuinely love the mountains and what happens when guests feel properly looked after!
The owners have been friends for 2 decades. We’ve won Best Ski Chalet Bulgaria four years running at the World Ski Awards and we are top rated on TripAdvisor. Join us and we’ll show you how we did it! Hint: it involves a lot of care and love for the ski season!

Who we're looking for
We care far more about attitude than hospitality experience. You don’t need a CV full of tourist seasons. If you take pride in running things smoothly, and put in care throughout the whole season, you’ll fit right in.

We’re not a large operation. There’s no HR department, no management chain. If something needs doing, the person who noticed it does it or brings it to whoever can. If something goes wrong, we talk about it and fix it!

Weekly pay
EU passport or Bulgarian Digital Nomad Visa required. Earnings count towards the visa income threshold.
