To go Bansko off-piste skiing, you should be fairly confident on your skis and sport a good level of fitness and endurance. Keep in mind that skiing on wild snow is quite different than piste skiing and is recommended for at least the intermediate skier. Also, a big portion of the tours will be spent hiking with your skis on.
An introductory class can be arranged if you’re new to splitboarding and ski touring.

You may also stay at our award-winning catered chalets, where you have full access to all amenities, and in-house fitting and equipment rental.
Bansko can be easily reached from Bulgaria’ capital Sofia. Sofia has a modern airport with good transport links. Several airlines serve the airport from all major destinations in Europe including London; Copenhagen; Oslo; Stockholm; Berlin; Dortmund; Paris and Bratislava. UK and EU citizens are allowed into Bulgaria without the need for a visa.
Ski touring season spans from January to April.
