We have lift passes ready and waiting for you at your chalet, saving you a job and avoiding those queues on your first day. Blank lift pass cards can be topped up easily online from the comfort of the chalet for any number of days skiing using a debit/credit card. The pass will instantly be loaded and ready to use. This is a free service and the charge will be the same as at the lift pass office. Just another advantage to staying with Snomads to provide a hassle-free holiday.

If you’re in need of ski or snowboard hire, we’ve got you covered. Depending on your chalet you will use our in-house rental shop or we will sort transport to one of our local partners. Taking away all the stress from getting fitted; no pre-booking, no queuing, no hassle. At our in-house shop you can even enjoy a drink whilst we sort everything for you. Everyone can benefit from a lesson or two, and we can help arrange these, from beginner to advanced to backcountry guides. We only work with a couple of the highest regarded ski schools in resort, which we believe deliver three vital requirements: experienced instructors, a range of ability groups and small class sizes.

A variety of lessons are available including mixed group, private group, or one-to-one tuition. For mixed group lessons, students will be grouped with others in resort of similar ability. All lessons take place in the main ski zone at the top gondola station, so a ski pass is required. We recommend booking lessons in advance of your stay to ensure you get the best options. Please note we will simply put you in touch with our recommended partners for lessons and the booking will be made directly between you and the ski school, with all information, meeting points, times and payment arranged directly.

Where will I be accommodated?

A choice of three beautiful and cosy chalets is available for your Bansko, Bulgaria ski holidays. Diana-Ross is our shared chalet, 4-time winner of Best Ski Chalet in Bulgaria according to World Ski Awards. Chalet Chico is run by one of the oldest families in Bansko, also available for share stays with its very own steam room and sauna. Available for private hire. Supreme Chalet is our 10-person private chalet, spread across 4 bedrooms. Retro game consoles, board games and an honesty bar make this one of the top chalets in Bansko, Bulgaria.

What should I bring with me?

We recommend bringing travel a pair of slippers and swimwear, if you plan on using our sauna and outdoor hot tub. Or even the nearby mineral hot springs. Additionally, travel insurance is recommended.

Are Bansko ski holidays good for beginners?

Bansko is infamous for its accessibility for both ends of the skill spectrum. With gentle bunny slopes, a variety of English-speaking ski schools and private instructors, as well as fantastic progression terrain. You can come as a complete newbie and become quite confident on the slopes in just a few days.

When is the best time for skiing in Bulgaria?

Bansko, Bulgaria ski holidays usually run from mid-December to mid-April. The great thing about the resort is that it provides comfortable skiing conditions throughout the entire season due to its extensive snow-cannon coverage, in case natural snowfall doesn’t suffice.
